"If I know one thing to be true, people will never forget how you make them feel….. I OVERLY used and abused my roadside assistance (due to a bad alternator and I had no idea that was my issue at the time). Whenever I called to express my frustration about my roadside assistance being dropped and how it could possibly be my alternator giving me so much car trouble, I was told verbatim “well, just go get a new alternator”……as if an alternator for my luxury vehicle was equivalent to a loaf of bread that I could just conveniently go grab right off the shelf at Wal-Mart. Needless to say, I was shocked and my feelings were hurt. Just because that’s what came to mind, didn’t mean that was the appropriate thing to say in that moment. I felt very berated/belittled. Customer service up until this particular incident was always exceedingly exceptional. But, the lack of empathy and compassion for my situation lead me to take my business elsewhere."
